Axel Arigato has opened a new flagship store at 21-23 Earlham Street in Covent Garden’s Seven Dials, as announced by Shaftesbury Capital. This location is directly opposite the well-known sundial pillar, reinforcing Covent Garden’s position as a significant location for flagship stores of international brands.
The store covers 2,500 square feet and offers a range of products including womenswear, menswear, and accessories, such as their popular sneakers. In honor of its 10th anniversary, Axel Arigato has introduced a special 10-year capsule collection, featuring monogrammed t-shirts, denim, and sneakers, available both in-store and online.
Designed to reflect Axel Arigato’s concept of ‘gallery-like spaces’, the store also functions as a venue for various events. The interior design, done in collaboration with Hallerod, includes natural marbles and metals, and features an in-wall speaker system. The space is adaptable for events, aimed at serving as a community hub.
This new store is the second Axel Arigato location within Shaftesbury Capital’s properties, following its initial flagship on Broadwick Street in Soho. The opening contributes to the array of specialist and luxury performance-wear brands in Covent Garden, alongside other retailers such as HOKA, Finisterre, and Alo Yoga.
Michelle McGrath, Executive Director at Shaftesbury Capital, noted that Axel Arigato’s new store is a part of the continuing leasing activity in the Seven Dials area. She highlighted the collaborative relationship between Shaftesbury Capital and Axel Arigato.
Albin Johansson, CEO and Co-Founder of Axel Arigato, mentioned that London has been an important location for the brand since their first store launch in 2016. He expressed the company’s commitment to expanding its physical presence in the city and engaging with customers at the new Covent Garden store.
It will be exciting to see what the payment experience will be like at Axel Arigato’s new flagship store in Covent Garden, as the specifics about the transaction methods and systems have yet to be revealed. This is an important aspect for customers and the brand alike, as a smooth and innovative payment process can enhance the overall shopping experience, reflecting Axel Arigato’s commitment to modernity and customer satisfaction. Given the brand’s reputation for blending fashion with functionality, it will be interesting to see if they incorporate advanced payment technologies that align with their forward-thinking approach.
