Swiss performance sportswear brand On has announced the opening of a new London store on Brompton Road in Kensington, bringing its total number of retail locations in the capital to four. With this launch, London becomes the city with the highest number of On stores worldwide, highlighting both the brand’s long-term commitment to the UK market and the continued growth in local demand.
The Kensington opening follows On’s recent expansion across London, including the Regent Street flagship and Spitalfields locations opened in 2023, and the Battersea Power Station store launched in 2025. Together, these sites reflect On’s focus on building physical retail spaces that are closely connected to local communities and designed around customer experience. Globally, the new store contributes to a network of 60 On locations across the Americas, Europe and Asia.
Set in one of London’s most prominent retail and cultural districts, the Kensington store sits close to Hyde Park and popular running routes, making it a natural meeting point for the city’s active community as well as visitors from around the world.
Commenting on the opening, Bianca Pestalozzi-Houchangnia, General Manager EMEA at On, said that the brand continues to see particularly strong momentum in the UK, with London representing its largest digital audience in Europe. She noted that expanding the brand’s physical presence in the city allows On to meet rising demand while creating distinctive, engaging experiences for both loyal customers and international visitors.
The new store covers more than 400 square metres across two floors and showcases On’s latest product developments. The range includes footwear, apparel and accessories designed for running, outdoor activities, training, tennis and everyday wear. As with other On locations, the Kensington store is intended to function not just as a retail space, but as a place that actively supports and connects with the surrounding community.
The Brompton Road store is located at 29 Brompton Road, London SW3 1ED, and is open Monday to Saturday from 10:00 to 21:00, and on Sundays from 12:00 to 18:00.
